Some more photos from the early 1990s, taken of the Airplane Diner of Penndel, PA. The Airplane diner was a converted Lockheed Constellation. After the diner closed, the Constellation was taken down from its supports, and restored, to non-flying condition. Check out what it looks like now on Brian Butko’s “Lincoln Highway News”.
The second photo of the plane is reversed. I used to work here in the late 70’s and lived in the area. The original name of the restaurant was Flannery’s.
